When will Trials of Power be available to read?

Trials of Power, book one in my debut YA Fantasy series, Forces of Power, is available for purchase now on Amazon.com in both eBook and Paperback formats!

How can I show my support for Trials of Power?

The best way to share your support for the novel would be to leave an honest review on the novel’s Amazon product page or on goodreads.com. And please share with your family and friends if you enjoyed it (and even if you didn’t)!

How long did it take you to write Trials of Power?

I would have to say the exact origin date of Trials of Power was January 11th, 2017, as that was the day I first decided to create a story based on an idea I had (And don’t even think about asking what that idea is, because I can’t disclose that information until you finish book 3…).

After conception of this idea, I spent about six months worldbuilding and planning how I would write the story, then another six months to finish the first draft of Trials of Power. In the two years following first draft completion, I probably rewrote the story five times, excluding several editing passes, before arriving at the story you have today.

When will Book 2 be available to read?

Book 2 in the Forces of Power series, tentatively titled Balance of Power, is slated to be available for purchase in 2022. I would like to release it on January 11th, 2022, as that day has special meaning to me and this series (see my social media for reasons), but it’s very possible it won’t be ready until later in the year.

But make no mistake, that doesn’t mean it isn’t planned out. The first draft of Balance of Power is already complete, so it’s simply a matter of how much time I can allocate to revising it on a weekly basis.

“Well I want Book 2 right now!!” ~Disgruntled Reader

Then buy Trials of Power and help me promote it so I can afford to take more time off work and write book two!

And before you ask, yes, Book 3 (no confirmed title, but obviously formatted as ‘Something’ of Power) is completely planned out and currently stored in my noggin.
